DESCRIPTION: This plant is is found in Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and the Philippines in humid mountain forests at elevations of sea level to 1000 meters. This plant has been seen in the wild growing on shaded tree trunks as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte. This particular variety of Bulbophyllum facinator 'Philippinense' produces large long-long flowers that are 11-14" inches long. The flower picture #1 was taken 3/16/2016 and the flower measured a little longer 12" inches long.
