The reverse variegated spider plants have leaves with white outer stripes, and a green stripe between. Spider Plants make excellent house plants or indoor plants as they are not only such easy-growing plants but have beneficial properties in cleansing the air of pollutants, especially formaldehyde and carbon monoxide. As it tolerates artificial lighting very well and has air purifying abilities, it's most ideal in office environment where electronic pollutants are emitted. Requires bright light or filtered sunlight for best growth and vibrant leaf colors. Never locate Spider Plants in full sun that will scorch their foliage. Remove yellow or dried leaves to keep it tidy. Fertilize sparingly as excess nutrients can retard its ability to produce more plantlets.

Tradescantia zebrina 'Wandering Jew Purple' has moderate to high watering needs, and should not be allowed to dry out completely. Tradescantia zebrina 'Wandering Jew Purple' is also capable of colonizing a water feature or exceptionally damp area of a naturalistic vivarium. Tradescantia zebrina 'Wandering Jew Purple' is very adaptable to light conditions - the brighter the light, the more evident the purple coloration. Tradescantia zebrina 'Wandering Jew Purple' grows as a vine, and is capable of quickly filling a vivarium if not kept under control by regular trimming. Hinterland Trading Air Plant terrariums have become extremely popular. They are epiphytes, which attach to other plants or trees for support. Their roots are only used to anchor themselves and are normally removed during cultivation for aesthetics. They are not parasitic, instead they gather micro nutrients from the air and water in structures called trichomes on their leaves. As the plant dries the trichomes take on a white powder look. After watering the plant will return to a vibrant green. Air Plants must dry fully between watering because they are susceptible to rot if left wet too long. These Air Plants will only bloom once, but after the bloom they can form up to 12 "Pups", or offspring, at their base. Xerographic as have elegant silvery gray leaves that begin broad and tapper taper to a point. The minimum size we ship is 6 inches wide for a tightly curled plant, with the average being 8 inches wide. As the Xerographica settles into its new home and grows it can exceed a foot in width. Their rosette appearance makes them popular centerpieces. Their unique features and origins make them great conversation pieces. Upon arrival give your plants a heavy misting. Our plants are shipped on the drier side to avoid rot while in transit. After an hour or two turn the plant upside down to remove any water that collected at the base. This could lead to rot. After this you can mist the plants every three days to a week. Their needs will vary with their environment, but in a few weeks you will be able to read your plant like a book.
