This hybrid orchid is one of the easiest to grow, and will produce stunningly beautiful flowers, with stripes in the dorsal and spots in the petals. One from this batch has already received an HCC from the American orchid Society. The breeding is Paphiopedilum Friedrich von Hayek 'Lehua Quiet Elegance' HCC/AOS x Paph. Wood Wonder 'OZNote 1,' but unless you're really into orchid breeding, you can pretty much ignore that and just enjoy the flowers when it blooms. And if you are into breeding, take it to judging and get an AM! These have several growths and they are freshly repotted in 3.5 inch pots. You can expect flowers within 12 months or so, which is our definition of blooming size. Makes a nice addition to any paph collection. Paphs make great house plants because they are easy to grow -- moderate to low light, keep from drying out completely, fertilize weakly every three or four weeks. Good air movement helps. Use distilled water now and again to wash away salts in the mix. Repot once a year. We have a bunch of these and we always ship the largest. We guarantee customer satisfaction on arrival.

These easy-to-grow cymbidiums will put out lots of large, stunning orange flowers, with a touch of burgundy red in the lips and some yellow in the center. Beautiful. The breeding on this mericlone is Cymbidium Coraki x Cymbidium Kusuda Shining. Because it's a clone, all the flowers should look like the one pictured. These are large, blooming size plants that stand about three feet high. They are NOT in flower now. We define blooming size as likely to flower within the next 12 months or so if properly grown. Multiple, large pseudobulbs. We will ship freshly repotted. This is the 'Royal Flame' cultivar. Grow these in moderately bright indirect light. Keep slightly moist. Fertilize twice a month, rather weakly. You pretty much can't go wrong. We have a bunch of these. We'll pick out a nice one for you. We always ship the largest. You can buy with confidence.
