Your Boo-Boo Plant could live within the capsule from 3 to 6 months without special care. It all depends on the plant type and the amount of sunlight and water provided. Boo-Boo Plant does not require much watering and it only takes about a minute or two. Simply put the base of your Boo-Boo into a small container with water as often as your plant requires; to find out your plant needs read the instructions provided with your order or visit our site. After applying water your Boo-Boo shouldn't move for the next 30-40 minutes to avoid dislocation from the soil. If you notice that condensation has formed inside the capsule, separate the capsule top from its base and let it air out, although its not dangerous for the plant. Once your Boo-Boo fills out his miniature terrarium home, you can remove the top of the capsule, than disassemble the already split base and free your beloved plant. The corn plant is an oldie but goodie in the houseplant industry. Europeans have been using them as indoor plants since the mid-1800s and they've been popular in the United States since the early twentieth century. Corn plants are grown as thick canes that sprout from buds along the cane, achieving a "false palm" effect (they're sometimes called false palms). They make good houseplants because they are tall and narrow, with controlled growth, and can withstand a fairly significant amount of abuse from casual indoor gardeners. The corn plant prefers bright, indirect light and should be kept evenly moist, not wet or dry. Never allow the plant to stand in water.

Place in a terrarium, hang from a wire, mount to driftwood or simply place in a decorative basket in filtered light and spritz with water once a week. That's it! Air plants can't be planted in soil, as it damages them, and they do best in shady areas, or birght, filtered light. Their ease of care makes them the perfect gift or addition to any home. Spray with water once a week for best results. In hot weather, more frequent water can be done, and in colder weather, Tillandsia require less water. Brighter light can produce some amazing colors from these Air Plants, but too much beating, direct sun can be very harmful, so introduce slowly. The photos are examples of plants similar to the ones you will receive. No two plants are identical, but are very silimar. Your new Tillandsia will look very similar to those pictured.
