Tillandsia Tenuifolia are a spectacular grey green and the leaves seem to be stacked up from their soft yellow base. Their blossom is pinkish purple in bloom and looks great in small vases and larger shells. Sometimes referred to as the "Carnation in Air" they are found in the wilds of Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. These air plants are 4 to 5 inches tall and 4 to 5 inches wide. Images provided may be of budding or blooming air plants. We will ship budding or blooming specimens when available but they are limited. Half the fun is watching and waiting for your new friends to display their colors.

These nice looking, plastic humidity trays provide the extra moisture that bonsai, orchids, ferns and African violets need. Just add water to these very attractive trays and the water will slowly evaporate, adding needed humidity. Humidi-Grow Trays are a fabulous tool by creating a more humid environment for your plant. Humidi-Grow Trays will allow you to use pots with large drain holes the overflow will pass through the pot and collect in the tray where the settled water will evaporate and help offset the loss of transpiration of moisture through the leaves. Hakuro Nishiki Dappled Willow Salix integra 'Hakuro-nishiki' ( also known as dappled japanese willow, or variegated willow ) 'Hakuro-nishiki' is a more compact cultivar that typically grows to 4-6' tall and features attractive variegated foliage throughout the growing season. New foliage emerges pink in spring, maturing to variegated shades of pink, creamy white and green. Narrow, lance-shaped leaves are particularly attractive in spring to early summer, but gradually fade to mostly green as summer progresses. Stems turn red in fall providing excellent winter interest. One of the easisest nepenthes. Especially suited for beginners. Most of the many nepenthes are easy to grow and readily adapt to the conditions inside the home. There are two distinct types based on the altitude where they typically grow: Highland- above 3,000 feet or Lowland- below 3,000 feet. Some growers break these out even further. Ultra Highland- above 6,000 feet, Intermediate (straddling both High and Low), and Ultra Lowland. All types are tropical and should be protected from temperatures below 40F. Highland types generally prefer cooler (yet still warm) temperatures: 65F - 90F during the day and 45F - 65F at night. The Lowland types prefer the same warm temperatures both night and day but will usually tolerate cooler nighttime temps around 60F - 70F. Given that most growers can't control temperatures that precisely, one can usually achieve success since many Nepenthes are adaptable to conditions inside the typical home. Zone 10. Grow in loose moist, but well-drained soil. Soil may be a mix of peat, perlite, bark, and vermiculite. Grow in bright, diffused light with high humidity (60%). Hardy from zones 10. Grows 72 - 96 inches.Requires acidic soil that is usually moist and very little fertilizer. Partial to full sun. You will be receiving 1 plant between 3 & 8 inches in a 3 inch deep pot.
