The Money Tree, or Pachira, is thought by respectable Feng Shui Masters to bring good luck and fortune to businesses and families. It is a tropical wet land tree native to Central and South American Swamps. In 1986, the popularity of these ornamental plants sky rocketed in Eastern Asia. These trees have the ability to grow up to 60 feet high in the wild. They are favorably placed as small plants in homes and offices.

Ikebana as an art form
Ikebana (ee-kay-bah-nah) is the art of Japanese flower arranging. The object is simply to create something of beauty for the delight of others and, in so doing, improve yourself. The artist sees it as a discipline of the inner spirit for the ultimate purification of the mind and heart. No judging of the work is conducted.
Dating back to the 15th Century, this art form reflects three fundamental characteristics of Japanese thinking: an innate love of nature, an abiding love of line, and an instinctive love of symbolism. For the Japanese, flowers signify communion with the heart of nature.
Through the centuries, ikebana has grown to incorporate 23 leading schools. The first, Ikenobo (15th Century), advocates using the natural bend of branches. This school, together with Sogetsu, Ohara and Misho would be considered the leading schools.
The Sogetsu School has emerged as an exemplary contemporary school whose arrangements fit seamlessly in today's modern and traditional d/cor. The goal of your arrangement is to create three levels of flowers -- high, medium and low. The highest point should equal twice the width of your container, plus twice the height. The medium level is approximately 3/4 of the highest point, and the lowest point is 3/4 the height of the medium level. Asymmetry and the use of empty space is an essential feature to composition, so be sure not to clutter the arrangement with too many items. You can use any type of flower or branch to create your arrangement. But you should never use four of the same flower in a single arrangement. The tools for the art include a Kenzan (pin frog), Hasami (clippers or scissors ), and Hana (fresh flowers).www.hollowcreekbonsai.com.

Good Gift ideal for everyone want to watch their own bonsai grow from seeds. Good education and learning experience. The "General Sherman" is a giant sequoia growing in Sequoia National Park, California, that happens to be the largest living thing on Earth. This tree is 275' tall and its crown spreads 107'. The trunk is more than 26' in diameter. The General Sherman is believed to be 2,500 years old, and weigh more than 1000 tons. John Muir called the giant sequoia "the noblest of a noble race." The giant sequoia is a columnar or cone-shaped tree, losing its lower branches and becoming flat-topped with age. Trees more than 100 years old typically are free of branches to a height of 100' or more. In cultivation, giant sequoias usually grow no more than 60-100' tall and retain their lower branches which may droop down to touch the ground and sometimes take root. The reddish brown bark is very thick (up to 20" thick) and deeply fissured. The bright gray-green leaves are scale-like, sharp-pointed, 1/4" long, overlapping each other, and completely covering the twigs. The egg shaped cones are 3" long, and remain on the tree for up to 20 years.

Also included is a 2 oz. Hinterland Trading Air Plant Fertilizer to keep the plants vibrant and detailed care instructions. Air Plants (Tillandsia) get their common name from the fact they don’t require soil. They are epiphytes, which attach to other plants or trees for support. Their roots are only used to anchor themselves and are normally removed during cultivation for aesthetics. They are not parasitic, instead they gather micro nutrients from the air and water in structures called trichomes on their leaves. As the plant dries the trichomes take on a white powder look. After watering the plant will return to a vibrant green. Air Plants must dry fully between watering because they are susceptible to rot if left wet to long. These Air Plants will only bloom once, but after the bloom they can form up to 12 “Pupsâ€, or offspring, at their base. The main plant will slowly be on its way out, but the Pups will continue to thrive and will separate when mature. Air Plants prefer filtered sunlight as their natural home is under tree canopy. This makes them perfect house plants. Air Plant care is pretty simple. Upon arrival give your plants a good hour or two soak in a shallow bowl of water. Our plants are shipped on the drier side to avoid rot while in transit. Place the plants root/base side up and out of the water. The base is the area susceptible to rot if left wet to long. Over the co...

Spectacular Golden Fall color!
This male cultivar has no messy fruits!
Extremely dwarf and slow-growing, this splendid male Ginkgo is a mutation discovered in Holland in 1995. Ideal for bonsai, containers, and small-space gardens, its exquisite fan-shaped foliage is in proportion to its overall size.
Delightfully curled and cupped new foliage of celery green turns bright yellow before dropping in autumn. These leaves are unlike any other in the garden, and when they fall they create a bright pool of color on the garden or patio floor, standing out brilliantly!
After several decades' growth 'Mariken' may reach 3 to 5 feet high; after 10 years it will have achieved only about 2 feet in height and 2 feet in width. Very rare and choice! Zones 4-8
Also known as the "Maidenhair Tree", purported to be the oldest tree species on the planet today. Used as shade trees and also in Bonsai creation ,Ginkgo Nuts are an Asian delicacy , and the leaves are used to increase bloodflow to the brain and as an aid to memory related disorders.

This listing is for 10 bottles of Super Green. This advanced Lucky Bamboo liquid fertilizer has improved formula compare to regular Green Green on the market. The Lucky Bamboo farms in China are actually using this Super Green in a more concentrated formula as industrial bamboo growing fertilizer. Compare to the regular Green Green made in Korea, This Super Green works much better for your plans. I personally tested it on my Lucky Bamboo and regular plants in soil. Leaves grow almost 3 more inches in 2 weeks, and plants are all look much healthier. I was so surprised about the amazing result.
Directions:
According to my personal experience, use half amount of Super Green as directed on the box works just fine.
My suggestion is just add 5 drops of liquid in your small lucky bamboo arrangement directly into the water every week. For larger Lucky Bamboo, double the amount of Super Green, and so on. Or you can add the Super Green in the water, and fertilize the soil of other plants in your house. That's it!
