Place them in a container with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water (make sure the containers are clean). Cut the sleeves holding the bunch together and start cutting the stems diagonally approximately an inch from each stem's bottom edge. Immediately after cutting the stems, place the flowers in the vase. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat. Change water every 2 days to keep flowers fresh.
