Cymbidium Robert Rowe 'Frae,' large seedling, will have charming blooms

These plants will produce stunning flowers, and lots of them. And they are super easy to grow. Mature plants put out lots of large, bright pink flowers. The breeding is Cymbidium Firewheel x Cymbidium Cleo Sherman. This is a clone of the 'Frae' cultivar, which is one of the nicer ones around. It won an HCC at the Santa Barbara orchid show back in the 80s and was described like by the judges like this: "Twenty flowers on two inflorescences; sepals and petals cream brushed with light rose toward margins and softly lined in medium rose; lip with deep rose V near margin shading to rose at border of throat." This is a seedling, about 3 years away from first flowers. But a mature plant in bloom would cost $40 to $50 or more, so be patient, grow it up and voila! Grow these in moderately bright indirect light. Keep moist. Fertilize twice a month, rather weakly. You pretty much can't go wrong. These seedlings are freshly repotted in 3.5 inch pots.
