These will produce lovely rose colored flowers like the one in the first picture. It's a primary hybrid, Paph delenatii x Paph rothschildianum. If you don't have one in your collection, you should. Much awarded over the years, but honors are still possible. The judges said this about one recent award winner: "Eleven flowers on five inflorescences; sepals and petals ivory, striped magenta; pouch pale magenta, striped darker magenta; substance good; texture matte." The natural spread can get up to 16 cm or more. This is an unbloomed seedling, two years or more from first flowering. But worth the wait, if you like to grow things up. And a mature plant in bloom at an orchid sjhow would likely cost $50 or more. This is a quality orchid that will give you very rewarding flowers. It is easy to grow and you can care for it in the house. Just provide relatively bright but indirect light, water three times a week, and fertilize weakly (3-3-3) every couple of weeks. You get one like the plant pictured. We have a number of these and we always ship the largest. The leaf span is about 5 inches and they are actively growing. Yes, we include free growing instructions. Keep slightly damp, grow in somewhat bright but indirect light. You can buy with confidence. We guarantee customer satisfaction upon delivery.
